There’s so much to choose from, but if I had to say one nature sound that always does it for me, then it has to be gentle rainfall with light thunder. I love the sound of water splashing across the floor a million times a second, and when it is accompanied by the low roars of distant thunder, it is the nearest thing to pure bliss for me.

If your anything like me you love to listen to nature sounds while relaxing, studying or going to bed. I am also a compulsive person and I like to have everything today, right now. Even if I order a nature sound CD from Amazon it would take a few days to get here, if it gets to my house at all. I personally love rainforest sounds cds to provide the most effective tinnitus relief.

I really think that the best way forward is to to purchase high quality Nature Sound MP3s. In the past I can understand that MP3 were generally of low quality due to their nature of audio compression. But these days, with the increasing number of people with broadband high speed internet, we can now download MP3s which at near CD quality. Most people except seasoned audio engineers wouldn’t be able to spot the difference.

The best thing is, there is no shipping costs, it is usually much cheaper, and you can put the sound of nature MP3 onto your Ipod straight away. No need to rip the CD, and name the individual tracks etc. Did I mention that you can also start listening to it straight away!

MP3 downloads is very much here to stay, and with the advent of better file compression, there is very little difference to a normal CD, except a lot less headache.
